Chopin's Concerto with Quartet Amabile

On July 25th, 2016 I had a rare occasion and a great pleasure to perform Chopin's Concerto No. 1 in E minor Op. 11 with Quartet Amabile and Nobuhisa Hasegawa at the Kagoshima Citizens' Culture Hall (Second Hall) in addition to my solo portion of the evening.

It was a treat to have you all on stage! You played wonderfully! Big Bravo and thank you very much! 

The concert was part of The 37th Kirishima International Music Festival 2016/Kagoshima. We had full house and I was very happy about it!

Laureate of the F. Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw in 1985, winner of top prizes at international piano competitions in Miland, Palm Beach, Monza, Dublin, Calgary. Gold Medallist of the A. Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in Tel Aviv. For more than 30 years Jablonski performs solo, chamber and with orchestras in Europe, Americas, Asia, and Israel. Also played for ballet, opera, and theatre spectacles as well as for spectacular, multi-discipline events. In 2017 Jablonski started recording complete works by Chopin both on modern and historical instruments for the F. Chopin National Institute in Warsaw, Poland. He was Full Professor of the F. Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (2004-2017). Piano Faculty of the Mount Royal University in Calgary, The Conservatory since 2002. He also teaches at the University of Calgary. He presents master classes, lectures and is a jury member at international piano competitions.
