Performing for Poland

I feel privileged to perform for Poland tonight in Ottawa, at the Sir John A. Macdonald Buidling of the Government of Canada on the occasion of the National Day of Poland (Constitution of Poland, May 3rd, 1791 and 1050th Anniversary of Poland's Baptism) and the visit to Canada of the President of the Republic of Poland Mr. Andrzej Duda and Mrs. Agata Kornhauser-Duda.

Krzysztof Jablonski

Laureate of the F. Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw in 1985, winner of top prizes at international piano competitions in Miland, Palm Beach, Monza, Dublin, Calgary. Gold Medallist of the A. Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in Tel Aviv. For more than 30 years Jablonski performs solo, chamber and with orchestras in Europe, Americas, Asia, and Israel. Also played for ballet, opera, and theatre spectacles as well as for spectacular, multi-discipline events. In 2017 Jablonski started recording complete works by Chopin both on modern and historical instruments for the F. Chopin National Institute in Warsaw, Poland. He was Full Professor of the F. Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (2004-2017). Piano Faculty of the Mount Royal University in Calgary, The Conservatory since 2002. He also teaches at the University of Calgary. He presents master classes, lectures and is a jury member at international piano competitions.
